Our engagement shoot!

EN : In the US, you know there is no official proposal without a professionnal photoshoot, right?

We were lucky enough to have the sweet Anne, from Photography by Anne Elizabeth taking ours, and we had so much fun!

We met on the far east, by the Tonto Forest - about 1:20 mins from where we live by a chilly, wet and muddy very early Sunday morning.

The day before has been incredibly rainy and we thought until the very last minute that we'll have to cancel the shoot.

Since we woke up at 4:30 AM to get ready that morning, it was dark and impossible to tell if the sun will shine.

We decided to go and try and boy oh boy, i'm glad we did!

It was a little cold, muddy and i definitely ruined my favorite pairs of Chinese Laundry shoes but we had such a special time and i'll for sure cherish those photographs forever.

On a eu énormément de chance de pouvoir booker la talentueuse Anne, de Photography by Anne Elizabeth pour nos photos de fiançailles.

Nous avions rendez-vous, assez loin a l'est de Phoenix près de la Foret Tonto - environ 1h20 de route de chez nous par un froid, pluvieux et boueux dimanche matin tot. Genre 7h du matin sur place.

Il pleuvait des cordes le samedi précédent au point que jusqu'a la toute dernière minute, nous pensions vraiment devoir annuler.

En nous réveillant a 4h30 du matin pour nous prépare, il faisait évidemment sombre et il nous était impossible de savoir si la pluie allait continuer.

On a decide de tout de meme prendre la route et oh la la, que je suis contente que nous l'ayons fait!

Il faisait froid, humide, boueux et j'ai abimé ma paire favorite de Chinese Laundry mais j'adore ces clichés et ils auront toujours une petite place spéciale dans mon coeur.
